CHARITY FAYRE DAY Sunday 17th July

CHARITY FAYRE Sunday 17th July: Memories of last year’s excessively wet Charity Fayre day are probably best forgotten: rain didn’t quite ‘ stop play ‘ as we were able to re-locate our stand to the Community Centre. With the current closure of this key facility, the luxury of retreating indoors is unlikely to be an option this year, but whatever the weather, we will still have our Museum Stand on the King George V Playing Field. We are choosing an item for our popular ‘Guess the Mystery Artefact ‘ game – what will it be this year? If you have been intending to take out Museum  Membership but haven’t yet got round to it, why not join at the Charity Fayre -it’s only £5 per household -what remarkably good value! You may also have been thinking about becoming a Museum Volunteer but are not quite sure what’s on offer, what’s involved or how to go about it. Again, it’s no problem, we can tell you all about volunteering when you visit the Museum Stand at the Charity Fayre. Our thanks to Lostwithiel Rotary Club who work  so hard to organise Carnival Week.
