I am delighted to report that repairs to the roof above the Guildhall have, at long last, been started !  How long it will be before we can move back into the office is difficult to quantify as so much depends on the severity of the problem &, of course, the unpredictability of the weather. This current dry spell is just what was needed for the works to go ahead......none of us needs to be reminded just how wet this winter has been.

The bulk of the office contents, which had been stored in the Museum,  have been moved over to the Function Room in the Kings Arms pub. Once again, thank you to Kerry & Will for their generosity in offering to store our paraphernalia.  Also thanks to the Museum Committee...... plus Dianne [Peter's wife] & Joey [ Amanda's son] for their help in the removal exercise. Many hands make light work!

At some stage the exercise will have to be done in reverse but with the addition of the granite steps to the Museum office to negotiate, so we'd better get into training.
